After a lot of teasing or torture, however you define it, fans can finally get their hands on theARMA Reforger1.5 update. Project lead Krzysztof Bielawski (Klamacz) sent the entire community on a wild goose chase, includng yours truly, to try and figure out the contents of the biggest ARMA Reforger update so far, and he has now mercifully published thefull patch notesfor the first release on the game’s experimental branch.
Like previous versions of ARMA Reforger experimental patches, the initial experimental update does not include every single item planned for the full release. The most noticeable absence is the Kolguyev map, whichas we recently reported, will be available free of charge to all players who own the game.

ARMA Reforger Update 1.5.0.14 Changelog
The first public version of ARMA Reforger 1.5 introduces some new toys for the armory barbies, while also adding some game-changing features for the armchair strategists looking to move lines on the map.
New Toys And Clothes
Update 1.5 is heavy on the explosive side of things. After much community clamoring though, the amount of supplies a single player can pull from a base scales up with the rank, to prevent one person drying up the whole arsenal.
Soviet RPG merchants will get access to the single-shot RPG-22 launcher with a HEAT rocket, and a new munition type for the RPG-7.

ARMA Reforger Finally Brings Major Feature To PS5 Version
Welcome to the mod zone, Sony.
The PG-7VR is a much heavier rocket with a tandem warhead, which limits its range to 200 meters but makes it effective against heavy armor. It is extremely overkill for any vehicles currently in game, but helps future-proof the arsenal.
Meanwhile, FIA troopers now also pack the RPG-75, a Czechoslovak single-shot launcher comparable to the M72 LAW and the upcoming RPG-22.

Sappers are bound to have a good time terrorizing unsuspecting riflemen with the addition of the American M14 and Soviet PMN-4 anti-personnel mines. These are small, nearly impossible to spot, and have a tiny warhead capable of maiming or killing anyone unfortunate enough to step on them.
It also opens the door to some creative explosive arrangements, such as placing anti-personnel mines near a larger anti-tank one to trigger a bigger boom.

For those fond of signalling and bullying people at night, update 1.5 is going to add handheld flares. Previously, sending up light required mounting a grenade launcher on your rifle.
Last but certainly not least, players of specialized inclination can rock unique camouflage patterns. The Soviet side is getting TTsKO uniforms, a three-color pattern traditionally used by the VDV and marines. Meanwhile, Americans get to dress up in tiger stripe, should they want to roleplay special forces in Vietnam or Snake inMetal Gear Solid 5.

Gameplay Changes
At the strategic level, the Conflict game mode now has the HQ Commander role. The position is decided democratically with a vote. This feature should pair up nicely with the new ability to establish bases outside the default objectives, allowing players to reshape the flow of the battle.
Commanders will be able to control logistics and combat operations from a command post in the HQ tent, and will now have the ability to assign reconnaissance objectives to players. To help keep the flow of supplies going, commanders can order AI soldiers to do supply runs.
At lower levels, squads will now have distinct roles, including squad leaders, making the proverbial herding of cats less of a chore on the field.
ARMA Reforger 1.5 wants you to keep it environmentally-friendly, and will allow you to take parts from gun and mortar emplacements to build new ones. Wrecked vehicles can also be recycled for supplies with the supply truck.
One of the biggest changes is the ability to move (and presumably fire) from vehicles, meaning a Jeep with four guys is no longer defenseless against a single guy with an AK on the side of the road.
As for the flyboys, those with HOTAS controls will finally be able to use them properly in Reforger, though rudder pedals are still unreliable.
