Noted talk-show host Jimmy Fallon would have had a completely different life if he had picked up on a hint years ago. TheSNLalum was reportedly blindsided when actress Nicole Kidman brought up a ‘date’ they had back when she was single after her divorce from Tom Cruise. Fallon reportedly did not know that it was a date.
The talk-show host later revealed that he was extremely embarrassed by the revelation, which came after Kidman married country rockstar Keith Urban. Fallon also revealed that in the years since Kidman’s confession, the crush has become a running joke between the three and has even led Fallon to prank Kidman.

Jimmy Fallon began to narrate his version of the story of when Kidman came over to his apartment, unaware that Kidman had expected it to be more of a romantic outing. TheTo Die Forstar then revealed that she was single at the time after her divorce from Tom Cruise and that she ‘liked’ him. Fallon can be seen immediately being shocked and confused at the revelation. Kidman said,
“I just remember I liked you. Not now, I am married now…But Rick, our mutual friend says, ‘Jimmy wants to meet you…you can go over to his apartment,’ and I’m single and I’m like, ‘OK, yeah cool.’”

Jimmy Fallonrecalled the infamous incident again recently on the20 Questions: On Deadlinepodcast, where he revealed that he was unaware of Nicole Kidman’s confession live on the show. The actor and host was reportedly under the impression that Kidman was going to come over for a chemistry test to be on the filmBewitched, a role which was eventually played by Will Ferrell. Fallon said,
“We were just there to talk about one of her movies or something she was going to win an award for…She goes, ‘Do you remember like I had a crush on you and I came over to your apartment?’ And my face just melted. It was the most embarrassing thing.”

“He goes, ‘Nicole’s talking to someone across the table. Why don’t you go and just hold her hand? She’ll think it’s me and then I’ll go around the table and wave at her.”
Fallon mentioned that though he was initially against the idea as he ‘did not want to be slapped’, he eventually gave in and the prank was a success.
