DCEU star Dolph Lundgren expressed his disappointment with the alteration made in the theatrical version while praising the original director’s cut.

In an interview withComic Book, Lundgren said:
“I was just disappointed for the moviegoers, because I thought the original script was great and the original cut — I saw a little bit of it, it was really good, so I didn’t see any reason to start reshooting and reshaping the story, which obviously led to disappointment in the moviegoers and not just me.”

Jason Momoa Hinted DC Exit AfterAquaman 2
Reports hinted thatJason Momoawill no longer reprise his role as Aquaman for DC Studios. There have been talks between him and James Gunn’s team on his potential portrayal of the renowned DC anti-hero Lobo in an upcoming movie. Speculations suggested that he might assume this role as soon as 2025, with a projected appearance inSuperman: Legacy.
Speaking toFandango, Momoa stated whether he is in discussion to play Lobo in Gunn’s DCU or not.

“So, Lobo… I used to collect comics and I don’t do so much anymore, but he was always my favorite. And I’ve always wanted to play Lobo because I’m like, ‘Hello?.’ It’s pretty perfect. It’s the perfect role. I mean, listen, if they call me and ask me to play it? It’s a f*** yeah. But, I mean, that’s a guarantee. So, you don’t have to worry about that. But, I haven’t received that call. So, I don’t want to put any fake news out there but if they ever call me and ask me to play, or ask me to audition, I’m there.”
It is still not clear whether Gunn intends to bring Momoa to portray Lobo in his DCU.
