Valorant‘s rank system has always been an ecstatic aspect of the game. It features ranks from Iron Iron all the way to Radiant through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Ascendant, and Immortal. However, with every new episode, your rank gets reset.
You will demote at least 3 to 4 ranks in the new episode from what you had in the immediate previous episode. However, there are different opinions about this rank system in the game.

However, one fan on Reddit showed his support for the rank system of the game. He has stated that a rank reset is an opportunity for players to improve their past mistakes in the previous ranks. Also, in lower ranks after the rank reset, players can try experimenting with characters outside of their comfort zones.

In higher ranks, you’re able to hardly do that in fear of poor performance that might lead to a huge RR loss. For example, if you are a controller main, you won’t try playing with duelists. But in a new episode, you can easily try your hands on Raze, Jett, Iso, and many more because those lobbies will be a lot easier than your capabilities.
