10Lords Of Waterdeep

Lords of Waterdeep was born as a tabletop game in 2013, and it became very popular for being a well-refined and engaging worker placing fantasy-themed title. The digital porting does not disappoint expectations and offers a game that can both let you enjoy your time with your loved ones but, at the same time, ruin hopelessly your friendships, as every self-respecting competitive board game does.

Jokes aside, what retains this game only at the bottom of this list is the lack of a real D&D atmosphere, the thrill of epic adventures, and iconic situations. It is just a very good strategy game with a D&D label on it.

Baldur s Gate Dark Alliance Dungeon

9The Temple Of Elemental Evil

Another diamond in the rough crafted by the dearly departed Troika Games. The Temple of the Elemental Evil brings to the table the 3.5 edition ruleset and it takes place in the Realm of Greyhawk, the one that can be considered D&D’s primordial setting.

The game itself, while being provided with a great turn-based combat system, is held back by an essential storyline, a simple plot, and frustrating bugs. But the love of fans has done justice to the spirit of the game and taken it to the next level with community-made fixes and additional content.

However, don’t take that to mean you’ll watch a movie instead of playing a game. This means players will be actively playing during this cinematics, choosing their dialogue options while they watch the characters walk around and converse on screen.
