Farming can be one of the most relaxing activities in a game, but after a while,it can also become a bit stale. Farming with a friend or partner, however, makes the activity far more enjoyable–not to mention more productive.
Some farming simulators have included co-op over time, but only a few have been ableto really make it worthwhile. For example, some co-op farming simulatorsonly allow players to visit each other’s farmsand help out rather than own the farm, too.

10 Farming Simulator Hidden Gems You Need To Play
Stardew Valley is great, no question, but there’s more to the genre than Eric Barone’s masterpiece
It’s especially worse when the other players can’t even progress or advance alongside the host player. Thankfully, certain games have made co-op farming a central part of their gameplay, allowing players to progress equally and share the farming experience with their friends.

I practically live infarming simulatorsand often play them with my partner, so we’ve encounteredboth satisfying and unsatisfying co-op experiences. Players looking for the next best farming simulator with co-op should look at the list below.
10Farm Together 2
Farm And Chill Together
Farm Together
Farm Together 2 has built itself a reputation for beingone of the chillest farming simulatorsout there. Players can join each other’s farms and slowly begin to expand their farms' borders.
Farm Together 2 also allows players to visit a town to sell their waresand complete quests for certain NPCs. The thing I loved the most about Farm Together 2 was the pacing.

Since the farm continues to grow even when players are offline, they can harvest everything immediately when they log back on. No more sitting around and waiting while the game is running!
9Garden Paws
Farm And Run A Store With Adorable Friends
Garden Paws
In most farming simulators, players typically cart off their crops to some bin or store for a shopkeeper to sell for them. Garden Pawsallows players to sell their hard-worked crops themselves.
Even better, players can have two other people join them. Together, everyone can farm, fight through dungeons, and then sell all their loot to the local town.

I loved being able to sell directly to the townsfolk since it made all that hard labor feel worth it. Not to mention, my partner and Ilooked adorableas cute and fluffy animals in Garden Paws.
Farm With A Dash Of Fantasy
Fae Farm isa fantasy-focused farming simulatorthat seems to favor co-op players. The game is really large, with tons of content that can be unlocked over time.
Each new area even revealsnew things to plant and grow. With so much to manage, not even counting ranching, players will definitely need a friend or partnerto help them stay on top of it all.

I found Fae Farm to be a really fun and whimsical farming simulator that has the best of everything a player would expect. My partner and I certainlyenjoyed customizing our adorable characters, including our fae wings, and discovering more customization options in new areas of the world.
7Ranch Simulator
Farm And Raise Animals With Friends
Ranch Simulator
Ranch Simulator may have a slight jank to it, but it’s pretty addictive. Players will find themselves racing along their ranch to feed animals or butcher them tomake the best money while the meat is in demand.
The game has also expanded during its development. Players can now becomemore sustainableby farming food for their animals.
Ranch Simulator focuses on animal husbandry and making animal products to turn a profit, and because there’s tons to do,playing it with another person is essential. My partner and I really enjoyed the grind of earning enough money to buy our first cow, and then watching our money soar once we started making cheese.
6Roots of Pacha
Farm In The Stone Age
Roots of Pacha
Roots of Pachais one of the best co-op farming simulators because it hasa unique way of finding new crops to farm. Players and their friends must travel through the world and discover seeds, crops, or other means of finding new planting recipes.
8 Best Prehistoric Open World Games
Ever wanted to explore a world without laws, civility and technology?
By discovering these recipes, players can then return home to their tribe and start planting them. The emphasis is ongoing out into the worldand seeing what the character can learn during each run.
I found Roots of Pacha to be refreshing when it came to farming simulators simply becauseit had a different way of learning and unlocking new recipes.
5Medieval Dynasty
Farm In Medieval Times
Medieval Dynasty
Farming is essential in Medieval Dynasty since it keeps a player’s village fed. Ever since the devs dropped the Oxbow update withtons of new villagesand content to explore, players have also been able to build their village and farm with friends.
Managing a town is much more fun when players have friends to help them. Since there’s almostno limit on how many farms a village can have, players could be blissfully farming for days.
I found the farming in Medieval Dynasty to be very meditative and relaxing, so when I played with my partner, we both hada chill time working our medieval crops.
Farm In The Outback
One of the many reasons that Dinkum isone of the best co-op farming simulatorsis that it allows players to explorethe Outback. Not a lot of games feature this type of environment.
The new environment also brings new crops and animals to raise that aren’t typically found in most farming simulator games. Friends can alsodesign a town togetherfrom scratch.
My partner and Iwere always eager to welcome new villagersand give them whatever they wanted to help us grow our town just a little more.
3My Time at Sandrock
Farm And Enjoy A Great Story
My Time At Sandrock
The “My Time” series has had huge success with farming simulators and cozy games, and My Time at Sandrock is no different. One of the aspects that makes it stand out among the best co-op farming simulators is its story.
Unlike a lot of other farming simulators,My Time at Sandrock has a pretty cohesive storythat players and their friends can follow. The NPCs are particularly memorable and have a more impactful role in the game.
When I played with my partner, we had quite a time piecing togetherall the gossipgoing on in the town.

Farming Simulator 25
There’s no question that when it comes torealistic farming,Farming Simulator25 is the ideal choice. Not only does the game partner withreal tractor and farming equipment brands, but players have to worry about everything from economics to poor soil.

1Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley

It even allows playersto marry one another and have a family. It’s a virtual home that players can create together.
My partner and Ialways return to Stardew Valleywhen we need to spend cozy time together with some simple farming.
